Frontend Developer
Xcontrol seeks a Frontend Developer to join our Hamburg team. In this role, you will be responsible for coding and maintaining our products for clients around the world. You will work on a variety of projects, from new product deployments to troubleshooting issues in live environments.
Responsibilities
- Work at our Hamburg office with our software engineering team.
- Collaborate with our product team to understand project requirements
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
- Continuously learn and adapt to new testing frameworks, methodologies, and industry best practices
Education
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in information systems, management information systems, computer science or related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end developing, IT support role or other similar type of functions.
Skills
- Excellent programming skills.
- Good collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with programming languages (e.g., Angular, HTML, JS, CSS)
- Strong willingness to learn and explore new frameworks and technologies
- Adaptive and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and comfortable working in an agile team
- Strong UX design ability
Availability
Available to work weekly in our Hamburg office, with the possibility of working some days from home.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in cruise industry technology delivery is a plus.
- Experience with Docker containers.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working with Palo Alto or other enterprise-grade firewalls.
- Experience working with VMWare or other virtual server hosting environments
- Experience with Oracle and/or MSSQL databases and/or SQL Queries
